Prior to becoming a full-time executive coach and advisor, Loala navigated an extensive and rewarding career in Human Resources. She spent the bulk of her corporate career in the health care industry, including healthcare insurance and medical technologies. Most recently, she led the HR teams for a global medical device company based in the Seattle area.

She has extensive experience in partnering with leaders to identify, design, and implement talent management strategies.  Loala is skilled in driving quality people programs that build culture and support the company’s mission, values and goals. Her HR background includes executive coaching, leadership development, succession planning, employee relations, strategic talent acquisition, and employee engagement. She holds a BS in Speech from Northwestern University and brings a slew of acronyms (credentials)-ICF PCC, iPEC CPC, ELI MP, PHR, and Gallup CSC. What you really need to know, though, is that she’s a highly trained coach, passionate about what she does, and she’s faced many of the same challenges and big dreams that you have.

As her family grew and she took on multi-generational family caregiving responsibilities, Loala grappled with the intense pressures that so many women face: demands from family, career, and personal life that overlap, compete, and leave little left for ourselves. She continued to say “yes” to each new request because she thought that’s what successful women do. They do it all. The “yeses” piled up to a full-scale rockslide of burnout. She became detached from herself and her loved ones. She was disappointed in the realities of what this form of “success” looked like. She was bone tired, and tired of being so tired.

Once she hit the bottom, Loala was able to find her way back up. She started her own business, navigated the intricacies and challenges of being her own boss, and found her place of power. Today, Loala is passionate about coaching other women leaders as they navigate their own challenges. Coaching is just one avenue of support that women can root in to rise up. We all need this kind of support.

Loala is a Seattle native. She’s an avid reader and loves personal development, memoir, sci-fi, and fantasy genres. Her greatest creative outlet is writing. She’s passionate about health and fitness, and enjoys hiking, spinning, running, and yoga. Loala lives in the Seattle suburbs with her husband and two children.
